Mission
The Wool Knitters exists to revive and sustain the timeless wool crafts of Himachal Pradesh. We work closely with Gaddi shepherds, women artisans, and local collectives to create high-quality, ethical knitwear that honours traditional skills while offering fair and consistent livelihoods. By blending heritage techniques with contemporary design and responsible practices, we aim to build a circular economy model rooted in dignity, sustainability, and community well-being.

Vision
We envision a future where Himalayan wool is celebrated globally, not just as a product but as a story of resilience, craftsmanship, and collective progress. At the heart of this vision are the women of Himachal—the keepers of tradition and agents of change—whose skills and aspirations power The Wool Knitters. Together with shepherds, artisans, and nature, we strive to build an ecosystem where craft, culture, and environment flourish in harmony for generations to come.
